🧰 Build-day checklist (nothing else to buy from the parts list)
Everything needed to assemble is in the boxes: thermal paste ships with the cooler, Wi-Fi antenna + M.2 screws with the board, all cables with the modular PSU, fans + screws with the case.
Have ready:
- 📀 Windows 11 USB stick (8GB+, make it at home before build day) + license key
- 🖥️ DisplayPort cable — for 144Hz; don’t rely on an old HDMI cable that may cap the refresh rate
- ⌨️ Any USB keyboard + mouse for setup (if Alex doesn’t own PC peripherals yet — he’s coming from consoles!)
- 🪛 Phillips screwdriver, and 10 minutes in BIOS: enable EXPO so the RAM actually runs at 6000 MHz
